For 2 extra people: 20 %

Cancellation
Cancellations must be received in writing either by email or letter. The date this is received by us, prior to the course/workshop, will determine the cancellation charges. These charges are expressed as a percentage of the total price, and are as follows:
More than 28 days: 25 %.
More than 15 days: 50 %.
15 days or less: 75 %.
We reserve the right to change or cancel your course/workshop. The fact that most of our courses and workshops are run outside, we require flexibility by all parties. In the case of bad weather we try to run an alternative programme where other relevant skills will be taught. If, on the other hand, health & safety of the group is at risk, and if there is no alternative available, we will have to cancel the course/workshop. If the tutor is ill and no replacement can be found, or if the amount of people for a group course/workshop is less than the minimum required, we have the right to cancel the course/workshop as well. In either case, a new date will be discussed with you or, if you prefer, a full refund will be given.
Equipment and hiring
For the introduction and intermediate courses, a SLR-camera (digital or film) is required. These cameras have the possibility to set shutter speed and aperture manually. If you don't have the right camera, or if you would like to experiment with an D-SLR, you can rent it with us. You will be responsible for the cost of any damage or breakages of your own or hired equipment.
Clothing
For our outdoor courses, we recommend you to wear old, whilst comfortable and warm clothes (layers) and waterproof walking boots or wellies. Take waterproof trousers and jacket with you in a day backpack which is also waterproof (or has a bin bag inside to protect your camera equipment and accessories).
Time
Outdoor courses and workshops start around 9 am and finish around 4 pm. This can vary however, depending on the group's or participant's requirements. The exact time will be discussed before you start the course or workshop.
Location
Outdoor courses; we have carefully selected suitable locations in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire which can vary per course. A car is required to access the, sometimes, remote places.
Indoor workshops; These are either held in Banchory Business Centre or in Aberdeen. For corporate or one-to-one sessions the location is variable.
Refreshments
Coffee, tea and lunch will be provided for the full day courses and workshops. We recommend you to take an extra bottle of water with you during an outdoor session.
Transport
Own transport to the location will be required. If you need a lift from the tutor or one of the course participants, please contact us, and we will try to arrange something.
Liability
We can’t accept any liability for any loss or damage to your camera equipment, clothing, property or any injury unless such loss is demonstrably due to our negligence.
You will be responsible to give us accurate information about your address, contact details, requirements and medical condition.
